Bedroom colour schemes

Colours can make or break a room. It is important to combine the right shades to create the perfect combination. Your bedroom is your safe space, you should feel welcomed by the space and fond as soon as entering.

Lets explore a few of my favorite bedroom colour schemes.

Classic neutrals

You cannot go wrong with a neutral bedroom space. It allows the room to feel calming and cozy. Neutral colouring rooms can be frowned upon for being seen as boring or dull, when in reality the colour palette is timeless, fresh and welcoming. Neutrals fit into to many settings, from country homes to flash new York apartments. No matter where it will make a statement.

Turquoise and cream

A statement without over doing it. Turquoise give the room a dramatic boost which is composed by the cream. The palette creates a calming and elegant feeling.

Dark olive and blush

Pink has never been a first choice of mine. however blush styled alongside a deep dark green is one of the prettiest combos. There is a subtle clash of colouring that allows for statement but also has harmony throughout.

Grey and teal

Perfect for a cooler tone room. This is often a combo I suggest to those looking for a crisp and masculine vibe. The shades sit well together for a beautiful and luxurious bedroom.

White and black

A timeless combo. The use of a sharp colouring lifts the room and the lighter shade brings balance overall creating a trendy space. A monochrome palette never goes out of style, it portrays both masculine and feminine elements making it perfect for guest bedrooms or even when you and your partner cannot agree on colours.

Orange and neutrals

Orange, orange, orange. It has special place in my heart. Wherever I can include orange I will, so of course it is up there with one of my favorite colour schemes. Pairing orange that have undertones of brown with warm neutrals is overall simple yet beautiful.

Dusty lilac and white

The lilac is welcoming and all around peaceful, exactly what you want when entering your bedroom. A place of relaxation. Blended with white it is the ultimate palette for a dreamy space made up of soft hues.
